India-China issue: Chinese Army moves back over 1 kms from Galwan valley

Chinese troops have pulled back by over one-kilometre from the disputed area of Galwan valley, according to Indian Army sources.

India and China mutually consented to move back from the area along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) at the Corps Commander-level talks

Chinese Army has started moving back its tents, vehicles as well as troops from locations where disengagement was agreed upon in the eastern Ladakh's Galwan Valley. Chinese troops have pulled back by over one-kilometre from the region, according to Indian Army sources. India and China mutually consented to move back from the area along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) at the Corps Commander-level talks.

China had kept its armoured vehicles in the depth areas in the Galwan river area. Meanwhile, the Indian Army is monitoring the situation in the area. More talks between the two sides are likely soon.
