Sushant\'s fans request PM for a CBI probe

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who committed suicide in his Mumbai apartment on 14th June, left his family, friends and fans shocked with the drastic decision to end his life. While Sushant's family and close friends are still mourning his loss, fans have come out in open asking for a CBI investigation into the matter.
While the debate over nepotism and bullying in Bollywood has gained momentum on social media, fans are now requesting PM Narendra Modi to begin CBI inquiry into the case. The hashtag #PMModiCBIForSSR has started trending on social media as more and more fans coming up in support of Sushant and urging PM Modi for a CBI probe. Check out the tweets here:

Meanwhile, the Mumbai police has recorded the statement of nearly 29 people till now which even includes Sushant's family members, rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, co-star Sanjana Sanghi and many others, who were close to Sushant. Earlier in the day, filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has just reached the Bandra police station to record his statement today.



On the other hand, the final post-mortem report of the 'Raabta' actor confirmed that he died of asphyxia due to hanging. Post that the viscera report came out to be negative, ruling out the presence of any suspicious chemicals or poison. Now, the police have sent the cloth, allegedly used by him to hang himself, to a forensic lab to analysis the tensile strength to determine whether it can bear the weight similar to that of the film star or no.
