Flycatcher Technologies receives acclaim in waste management

Flycatcher Technologies, a waste management company with local office in the state  has been ranked among the world’s five top waste management start-ups by StartUs Insights, a start-up scouting outfit. 

Based in Gujarat, Flycatcher Technologies has projects in Goa and Maharashtra. The company provides end-to-end solutions related to waste management, through bio-digesters that feed off wet-waste to generate both bio-gas as well as natural fertiliser.

“The public and private sector in the country is looking to cut overhead costs to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. This technology can assist the public sector and businesses to rationally reduce their fuel-related costs in a big way,” said, Richard Dias, founder and vice president, Flycatcher Technologies.

“The unique aspect of the technology is that there is no residue left behind after the treatment. The material which is used to build the digesters is recyclable too,” added Dias. He said that, the company offers products that are one-of-a-kind and reliable. “Each product has over 250 unique parts that are chosen for their quality and ability to be recycled after the operational life of the product. Anything that we put out has a positive impact on the ecology,” said Dias.
