Police are investigating the death of man who fell from a balcony in Sydney's CBD.

Emergency services were called to the scene about 6.15pm, after reports a 25-year-old man had fallen from a balcony on Liverpool Street.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious, believing it to be the result of misadventure.

Local police are investigating the death and a crime scene has been established.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
