Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has given information about the National Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations. He said that keeping in mind the safety of students and we have decided to postpone the examinations of JEE and NEET. The JEE-Main exam will be held from September 1 to 6, while the JEE-Advanced exam will be held on September 27 and NEET will be held on September 13.

The Ministry of Education had asked the panel of experts to submit the report after review on Thursday. Under this, the panel suggested extending the date of examinations in the wake of the Corona epidemic. Earlier, the education ministry had fixed the exam date for JEE Main from 18 to 23 July. The exam date of NEET was to be held on 26 July.

The JEE Advance, which is held for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), was scheduled to be held on 23 August. Nine lakh children have registered for the JEE examination and 16 lakh children for NEET.
