China says Beijing's coronavirus outbreak wanes
Chinese officials have reported eight new confirmed Covid-19 cases as a recent outbreak in Beijing appears to have largely run its course.China's capital had two new cases, the seventh straight day of single-digit increase. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who have recovered from Covid-19 are donating plasma for treatment of patients.
They say, "We are proud to have donated plasma to save lives of other patients. This is another way to serve the country." "139 CRPF jawans had tested positive for Covid. Till now, three jawans have donated plasma and more are willing to do so, " said Deependra Rajput, Commandant 31st Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Germany's confirmed coronavirus cases rise by 239 to 196,335 - RKI
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany increased by 239 to 196,335, data from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases showed on Sunday.The reported death toll rose by 2 to 9,012, the tally showed.
A councillor of Mormugao Municipal Council in Goa died at Covid hospital on late Saturday night, making it the seventh casualty due to the pandemic. He was hospitalised last week after he had tested positive.

S Korea has 60-plus new virus cases for 3rd day
South Korea has recorded 60-plus COVID-19 cases for a third consecutive day, a continuation of a virus spread beyond the greater Seoul area.The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Sunday it has confirmed 61 additional cases, bringing the national total to 13,091.
