MP Board MPBSE 10th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared the result of class 10 exam. A total of 5.6 lakh (5,60,474) students cleared the class 10 exam successfully out of 8.93 lakh (8,93,336) appeared. As many as 62.84 per cent students have passed the exam this year, a slight rise from 61.32 per cent in 2019.

A total of 15 students have secured rank 1 with cent per cent marks. The toppers are- Abhinav Sharma (Bhind), Lakshyadeep Dhakad (Guna), Priyansh Raghuvanshi (Guna), Pawan Bhargawa (Guna), Chatur Kumar Tripathi (Panna).

Around 3.42 lakh (3,42,390) students secured first division, 2,15,162 students passed with second division, and a total of 2,922 students got third division. The girls have outperformed boys with 65.87 per cent, the pass percentage of boys is 60.09 per cent.

The students can check the results through the websites- mpresults.nic.in, mpbse.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in, and through app- MPBSE, MP Mobile, Fast Result. The students can check the result through the ‘download result link’ options on the websites. For that, they need to enter the registration number, roll number. Results will appear on the screen. Download it, and take a print out for further reference.

Check assessment scheme of pending papers

This year, marks are given out of 300 as not all exams could be conducted for MP Board class 10 students due to the coronavirus. For the exams which have not been held, students will be marked as ‘pass’ and no marks will be given

Check the pass percentage of regular and open mode

Among overall pass percentage, only 42.01 per cent students cleared the MP Board class 10 exams in regular mode from Bhind while only 10.20 per cent of students who appeared for the MP Board class 10 exam in open mode could clear it. This is the lowest performance, district-wise.

15 students secure rank 1

The top rank has been secured by 15 students this year — all of whom have obtained 300 out of 300 marks. Those who obtained rank two have got 299 out of 300. As many as five out of the 15 students in the top rank are from Bhind district.

Govt schools perform better

The government schools have performed better than that of private schools. In Neemuch, 82.82 per cent students cleared exams from government-run and 72.93 per cent students cleared the MP Board class 10 exams from private schools.

Pass percentage improves from last year

This year’s result is better than last year’s. As many as 62.84 per cent students have passed the exam. While this is a slight rise of 1.52 per cent from 61.32 per cent in 2019. This is a significant rise from the pass percentage of 49.86 per cent in 2017, however, the pass percentage was recorded at 66 per cent in 2018

Meet the best performing districts

Neemuch has emerged as the best-performing district with 79.13 per cent students from the area clearing the exam in regular exams, however, only 22.40 per cent students passed from the district in private mode.

A total of 2.22 lakh (2,22,944) students could not clear the class 10 exam. Around 1.08 lakh (1,08,448) have to appear in the supplementary exams, while 8,091 students did not appear in exams

MP Board class 10 result on best 5 policy

The result of Class 10th board examination will be declared as per the favourite five policy. Out of six subjects, the best percentage will be taken into account of five subjects for calculating the passing marks. MPBSE Class 10th result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The candidates need to secure atleast 33 per cent marks to be deemed passed. Last year, a total of 61.32 per cent students cleared the secondary exam, while 72.37 per cent were successful in higher secondary.

The candidates with 60 per cent marks will be awarded first division, for second division students need 45 per cent and above marks. In the third division, students with minimum 33 per cent marks and above are considered
