TBSE Tripura Board Madhyamik 10th Result 2020: Around 39,000 students who had appeared in the Madhyamik, class 10 exams this year can check their result now, as it has been declared. Around 39,000 students who had appeared in the exams vcan check the results through the websites- schooleducation.tripura.gov.in, tbse.in, tripura.nic.in.

A total of 69.49 per cent students passed in Madhyamik 10th exam this year. Dipayan Debnath from Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan has topped the Madhyamik examination this year with 488 marks. Megha Sharma, Trishasree Dewan, Abhiraj Paul has secured the second position with 487 marks, and a total of four students bagged the third position with 483 marks. They are Aldrin Roy, Yashraj Das, Debadrita Pal, Medha Sharma.

Twenty four students have found themselves in the top ten positions this year. The exams were held from March 3 in two segments- old and new syllabus, however, it was disrupted midway due to coronavirus induced lockdown.

The government cancelled the pending papers of both classes 10 and 12 exams following the verdic of apex court over the issue of pending examinations of the central education boards, state education minister Ratan Lal Nath informed.

The exams were supposed to be held till March 27, but a few papers of the old syllabus and Madrasa candidates were cut short due to the Covid-19 induced lockdown. Tripura later announced the pending papers would be conducted from July 5 but the decision was withdrawn after central ‘unlock’ guidelines arrived.

Regarding the marking scheme of the cancelled papers, TBSE president Bhabatosh Saha said, “We are contemplating to consider either of CBSE or that of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The former is opting for an average of result from a set of best of papers while the latter is opting for granting the highest grade in any subject to the one which didn’t go for exam.”

TBSE Tripura Board 10th Result 2020 Live: check update 

Last year, a total of 65 per cent students cleared the Madhyamik examinations successfully. Tathagata Datta from Udaipur English Medium HS School had then secured the first rank, after fetching 481 marks. The state also witnessed 53 schools secure 100 per cent passing percentage, while 34 schools recorded 100 per cent failure rate.

TBSE Madhyamik result today 

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will release the state Madhyamik, class 10 result on Friday, July 3. The result will be announced from the board office at 9 am. Nearly 39,000 students appeared in the exams, which was conducted in two segments – old and new syllabus.

Pending papers of class 10 and 12

For Class 10, pending examinations for Physical Science and Life Science were to be held on June 5 and June 6 respectively. The Class 12 students were supposed to sit for examinations of Sanskrit and Statistics on June 5, Economics on June 6, Psychology on June 8, Arabic and Music on June 9, Geography on June 10 and Home Management and Home Nursing and Nutrition on June 11

Result date for HS exam

The result of Higher Secondary, class 12 exam will be released this month. A total of 27,142 candidates including 13,908 male and 13,234 females were enrolled for writing TBSE Higher Secondary exam papers this year.

Madhyamik result declared

Pass percentage at 69.49% 

A total of 69.49 per cent students passed in Madhyamik 10th exam this year. Board president Dr. Bhabatosh Saha announced the results and said 50265 candidates appeared in the Madhyamik examinations in the new syllabus category this year, out of which 48994 appeared in their examinations.

Ratio of male and female candidates 

Among those who wrote their board exams, 22,836 male candidates appeared and 26,158 females wrote their papers.

Pass percentage improves from last year 

The pass rate has slightly risen this year from 64.60 percent in 2019. However, the results declared this year are provisional, since these results pertain to those who appeared from new syllabus category alone
