Accused wanted in loan fraud case arrested in Jaipur

JAIPUR: Police arrested a wanted accused in a cheating case, who had a reward of Rs 10,000 on his arrest and was wanted by the Special Operations Group (SOG).
The SOG announced a reward on his arrest seven days ago.
The police said that a case had been filed one year ago with Sanganer police station against a person, who managed to get loans on fake documents on 30 four-wheelers siphoning off Rs70 lakh from the company for which he worked as an employee.
Accused Amit Sharma, a resident of Alwar, was employed as business executive at Mahindra Finance Services Limited at Pratap Nagar.
He was allegedly hand-in-glove with the other accused and without any verification of documents, he helped them in getting loans for 30 four-wheelers on fake Aadhaar card, residential address and income tax return without its certification.
After that, on the basis of fake documents, he managed to get all the vehicles transferred on their names. In the case, 13 accused have already been arrested.
