Heidi Heming has been appointed as the Business Development Manager of Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre in New Zealand. Heming will be based in Sydney, Australia but will be working closely with Te Pae Christchurch’s locally-based business development team. Heming comes with an experience of working with the business event industry in both Australia and New Zealand. Prior to her latest role she worked with Conventions & Incentives NZ.
Speaking on her latest appointment, Heming said in a statement that she is excited to represent the Te Pae Christchurch in the Australian market. She mentioned that she has been closely watching the progress of the venue since day one hence it feels like a natural step to be part of the Business Development team.
Ross Steele, General Manager, Te Pae Christchurch added that Heidi is a superb networker and is well respected in the industry. He mentioned that she will serve as a real asset as authorities continue to promote Te Pae Christchurch during the pre-opening period. He further shared that though the borders between New Zealand and Australia are closed at the moment, once the reopening begins it will give Te Pae Christchurch the opportunity to continue face-to-face engagement with its Australian clients.
