Himachal Pradesh relaxes 60% occupancy in buses condition

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh government has allowed relaxation in the condition of maintaining 60% occupancy in state carriage buses. This will be subject to maintenance of social distancing. Also, no standing passenger will be allowed in the buses during the journey.
According to a state transport department spokesperson, other conditions not related to maintenance of 60% occupancy as mentioned in the department notification of May 30 shall remain the same. The state government, on May 30, decided to resume bus services across the state from June 1 with 60% occupancy to maintain social distancing and avoid overcrowding.
It has been mandatory for all passengers to wear masks from the time of boarding till alighting from the bus.
