SHIMLA: In
Himachal Pradesh, 19 positive cases of Covid-19 were reported on Friday including 6 from Una district, 4 from
Kinnaur district, 3 from Hamirpur district, 2 each from Kangra and
Chamba districts and one each from
Mandi and Solan districts.
In the state 39 positive patients have also recovered including 17 from Kangra district, 9 from Hamirpur district, 4 each from Una and Shimla districts, 2 each from Solan and Chamba districts and one from Solan district.
Total number of positive cases in the state has now increased to 1033 of which 339 cases are active while 671 positive patients have recovered, 13 have migrated out of state, 8 have died of Covid-19 while two deaths of positive patients from Chamba and Shimla district have occurred due to non Covid reasons.
In
Chamba district a 47 years old male from
Salooni who had returned from Noida and was in home quarantine has been tested positive while a 50 years old male from Dharbhuni Masrund has also been tested positive.
In Mandi district a 26 years old female from Gumma who had returned from Delhi has been tested positive. In Solan district one person working in an industry in Baddi area has been tested positive during random sampling.
In Kangra district a 26 years old female of
McLeodganj who had returned from Delhi on June 23 and was in institutional quarantine at Tibetan Reception Centre and a 60 year old male from McLeodganj have been tested positive.
In the state maximum 282 positive cases have been reported from Kangra district of which 93 are active, in Hamirpur district total 256 positive cases have been reported of which 79 cases are active, in Una district 119 cases have been reported of which 25 cases respectively are active while in Solan district 111 cases have been reported of which 46 cases are active.
A total of 59,384 persons were put under surveillance in the state till Friday, of them 40,269 have completed their 28 days of surveillance, while 19115 are under active surveillance. So far 85,116 persons have been tested for Covid-19 of which 83,959 have been tested negative while results of 124 samples were awaited.
