Victorious Kidss Educares adopts to prompt changes initiated by IB
As schools across the world have closed to comply with social distancing measures, many schools are looking at how to support children’s learning and minimise disruption.

PUNE: During the current crisis of the coronavirus pandemic, the Victorious Kidss Educares, an IB World School, has modified many of the face to face offerings transitioning them online. They have increased the number of webinars on topics of interest to schools and continue to add more free offerings each month.
They have undertaken several initiatives to help students and teachers to sail through this pandemic smoothly. In an effort to support teachers, the schools have provided a highly interactive professional resource containing four topics that include the IB teacher professional, strong central ideas, learning in a transdisciplinary world, and inquiry happens everywhere. All these workshops are available in English, Spanish, French and Arabic, said President of VKE, Robbin Ghosh.
"Apart from this we have also provided official podcasts with a series of well-being episodes, digital exhibitions, resources for parents and caregivers. With schools closed, parents are working closely with educators to support children during this difficult time. With a view to enhancing that support, IBO have developed some materials and templates for parents to further students’ learning and growth outside of a regular school setting,” said Ghosh.

To help maintain continuity of learning, personal inquiries for supporting educators to provide them with examples will also be provided, said Ghosh.
