Former beauty queen walks again after left leg being amputated

32-year-old, Former Miss Colombia, Daniella Alvarez, whose leg had been amputated following surgery complications is walking again right after a few days of her last operation. The Braveheart beauty queen’s hard moments were witnessed by the whole country.

Despite everything, Daniella impresses us to such rapid progress. Throughout her struggle, the model, presenter and former Miss Colombia have kept her followers updated on how it advances the whole process of recovery.

Few days ago, the gorgeous beauty that arrived in Cartagena to be quarantined with her family reported to feel the pain in the left side of her stomach which eventually led her to think that she had an inflamed colon and went in for an operation to remove a lump from her abdomen. However after a few examinations, the doctors detected a "mass located under her left rib" for which he had to undergo three operations to correct this condition.

During her fourth surgery, Daniella suffered some complications when the blood flow to her left leg cut off, forcing doctors to act swiftly. She decided to have a fifth surgery in which the doctors would amputate her foot in an effort to mitigate any further complications. Later, Alvarez revealed she ‘loves her body just as much as before.’

It is said, “With brave heart everything is possible.” Daniella is the true example of this saying since the announcement of her amputation she become a ray of courage through her words and actions.
