Less consumption, pay more (For users consuming electricity up to 100 units)
Earlier:
* Electricity Charge: Rs 3.05 per unit = Rs 305
* Fixed Charge: Rs 90
* Fuel Adjustment Charge: 61 paise per unit = Rs 61
* Wheeling Charge: Rs 1.28 per unit = Rs 128
* Electricity Duty (16%) = Rs 93.44
* Total bill amount = Rs 677.44
Now:
* Electricity Charge: Rs 3.46 per unit = Rs 346
* Fixed Charge: Rs 100
* Fuel Adjustment Charge: 0
* Wheeling Charge: Rs 1.45 per unit = Rs 145
* Electricity Duty (16%) = Rs 94.56
* Total bill amount = Rs 698.56
The difference after rate hike is Rs 8.12 despite the Fuel Adjustment Charge is removed

Now:
* Electricity Charge: Rs 3.46 per unit (up to 100 units) and Rs 7.43 per unit (up to 300 units) = Rs 1089
* Fixed Charge: Rs 100
* Fuel Adjustment Charge: 0
* Wheeling Charge: Rs 1.45 per unit = Rs 290
* Electricity Duty (16%) = Rs 236.64
* Total bill amount = Rs 1715.64
Difference after rate hike is Rs 41.76 less than earlier
