Former beauty queen passed away due to cardiac arrest

Former beauty queen Ibidunni Ighodalo, wife of Lagos-based pastor and founder of Trinity House, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo passed away at the age of 39. Ibidunni who was a businesswoman and philanthropist was reputed for her non-governmental organization.

After completing her degree in microbiology, she was a Marketing Member of the National Institute of Nigeria. At the age of 18 she was crowned Miss Lux beauty pageant. With the help of ‘Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation’ she used to counsel couples facing fertility challenges and supported them financially for in vitro fertilization.

The diva who was to turn 40 in July, passed away due to cardiac arrest. Ibidunni, who was travelling round the country to help with a project to build isolation centres for COVID-19 patients for state governments, died on Sunday in a hotel in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Due to the ongoing pandemic and restrictions laid by the government, the funeral service would be attended only by a few family members and friends, however the service would be streaming live on various social media platforms.
