Confirmed! Year-end theatrical release for Akshay Kumar’s 'Sooryavanshi' and Ranveer Singh’s '83'

The coronavirus pandemic has brought the fast-paced Bollywood to a screeching halt. With cinema halls being shut to shootings being stalled, things have gone topsy-turvy in Bollywood. Amid the crisis, the makers of several big-budget movies are taking the direct-to-OTT route instead for waiting for traditional theatrical release post-lockdown. However, here comes good news for sundry movie-goers. Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited ‘Sooryavanshi’and Ranveer Singh’s sports dram ‘83’ will get theatrical release and will hit the screens on Diwali and Christmas, respectively.
