Karnataka: Dakshina Kannada BJP president miraculously escapes after his SUV topples

MANGALURU: Sudarshan Moodbidri, president of Dakshina Kannada district unit of BJP had a miraculous escape, with minor injuries, after the SUV he was travelling toppled near Thodar, under Moodbidri police station limits, on Wednesday noon.
Police said that the incident took place around 1.15pm when Sudarshan was travelling to Mangaluru from Moodbidri.
On reaching near Thodar, the speeding SUV moved outside the road and skidded on the silt accumulated on the roadside and toppled. Though the vehicle was partially mangled, Sudarshan escaped with minor injuries, police added.
