Marking Abhishek Bachchan's digital debut, the action-packed trailer of Indian web-series Breathe: Into The Shadows is finally out, and you can't miss it
The much-awaited trailer of Breathe: Into The Shadows is finally out. Released just minutes ago, the new look is quickly raking up likes on YouTube, and marks Abhishek Bachchan's debut into the digital world. A fresh new mystery by Amazon Prime Video, this upcoming show is bound to make it to your list of must-watch Indian web-series as we continue to practice social distancing. If you haven't checked it out yet, start watching now.
In his very first web-series, Abhishek Bachchan is seen taking on the role of psychiatrist Dr Avinash Sabharwal, a man whose daughter Siya has been kidnapped and missing for three months. The trailer of Breathe: Into The Shadows shows Dr Sabharwal and wife Abha (played by South star Nithya Menen)'s struggle to find Siya while being blackmailed to kill a man to earn back their child. What we get to see in the dark trailer, fast-paced trailer is flashes of freshly-printed ‘Missing’ posters, the couple's daughter smiling before being taken, a daunting image of a masked villain, glimpses of bloody crime scenes, and then the big plot twist straight from Bachchan's mouth: “I may know who the killer is.” The show also stars Saiyami Kher, along with Amit Sadh, who returns in the new edition in his original role, inspector Kabir Sawant.
Given that the last time fans got to see Abhishek Bachchan in action was in 2018 with the film Manmarziyan, the trailer of Breathe: Into The Shadows has already stirred up lots of interest online. After all, the lead up to the release has been full of suspense too. The teaser of the show, which was shared by the star a few days ago, left many questions unanswered, and its caption was equally intriguing: “Sab kuch perfect tha. Phir ek din… sab badal gaya. Kya aap jaante hain hamari Siya kahan hai? - Abha & Avinash Sabharwal.”
In case you missed it, the first season of Breathe was led by actor R Madhavan and is still streaming on the platform. Just like its second edition, the original series took audiences on a thrilling journey of a father who goes to extreme extents to save the life of his son. Season 1 also featured Sapna Pabbi and Neelima Kulkarni.
Loved the trailer of Breathe: Into The Shadows? You needn't wait too long to watch the series. Breathe: In The Shadows is set to release on July 10, 2020.
