Cop held for taking bribe in Bharatpur

JAIPUR: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday arrested a sepoy of Sikri police station in Bharatpur district for accepting a bribe of Rs 35,000. The arrest has no link to the alleged corruption case involving Bharatpur ex-DIG Laxman Gaur, officials said.
Sepoy Duli Chand took the bribe for compromising the evidence in a case. “The policeman was caught taking bribe in a case and this instance is not related to the investigation in the corruption allegations involving Gaur,” said Dinesh MN, ADG, ACB.
