TS DOST 2020: Phase I registration process for UG admission postponed

NEW DELHI: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has postponed the Phase I registration process of the
Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) 2020 for admission to undergraduate courses for 15 days due to Covid-19 pandemic. The updated schedule of registration for the degree admissions will be announced later.
As per the schedule released on the official website on June 22, the Phase I registration process was supposed tobegin today. Once the council resumes the registration process, aspirants can register online for all the undergraduate courses — BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Com (Voc)/ B.Com (Hons)/ BSW/ BBA/ BBM/ BCA, etc., offered by all the colleges affiliated to Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Telangana University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, and Satavahana University respectively — for the academic year 2020 - 2021 through the DOST’s portal — dost.cgg.gov.in.
Applicants need to pay a one-time registration fee of Rs 200. Application fee can be paid through Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking/ Twallet. Phase I web options will be enabled from July 6 till July 15 and the seat allotment will be released on July 22, 2020. The candidates who get selected in the Phase I need to report online between July 23 and 27.
DOST Phase II registration will begin on July 23 and conclude on July 29. The application fee for Phase II registration is Rs 400. The seat allotment for Phase II registration will be announced on August 8. The allotted candidates would need to report online between August 8 and August 12.
The Phase III registration process will commence on August 8. The allotment list of Phase III will be released on August 19. All students who have confirmed their seats online (Phase I, II, and III) need to report to colleges between August 20 to 24.
As per schedule, the classes (Semester I) will commence on September 1.
