Government has commenced dredging of Brari Nambal Lake in Srinagar on July 1. The lake is located in the downtown area of Srinagar and receives water through mini water channels from different areas of Srinagar. During lockdown, the lake’s water channels got blocked. Stagnant water in the lake created a foul smell, therefore the government started dredging. After relaxation in lockdown the department has immediately put its man and machinery in forces to clean the Brari Nambal Lake. Cleaning drive will restore the scenic lake’s beauty.
