Ineos is a relatively new name to the motor industry, but the small automotive company is looking to unsettle the 4x4 cart with its new Grenadier.

Revealed on 1 July, the Grenadier is an 'uncompromising 4x4', according to Ineos, and the ethos around the concept was that function should lead form. This is why the Grenadier has such a boxy design – a familiar trait of a 4x4 legend, the Willys Jeep.

Speaking on the Grenadier's market position, Ineos says that pricing had to be spot on if they wish to take on the established players in the market. And while it is still too early to give indicative pricing, Ineos did confirm that the Grenadier will go up against the likes of the Jeep Wrangler.
