Prime Minister Narendra Modi has again made a big announcement for the poor, amidst the rising infection of Corona virus in the country.

PM Narendra Modi has now extended relief to the poor people by extending the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for five months. Under this scheme of the Central Government, five kg of food grains are given free per month to a person of poor family.

The PM, in his address to the country, had said that the scheme should be continued till November, which was to end on June 30. Even though this announcement of PM Modi is being seen in connection with the possible Bihar assembly elections in October, but it will benefit crores of people.

During this time, PM Modi has once again advised people to take precautions to avoid corona.
