The government has settled Rs 13,325 crore to CGST and Rs 11,117 crore to SGST from IGST as regular settlement.
The total revenue earned by Central Government and the State Governments after regular settlement in the month of June, 2020 is Rs 32,305 crore for CGST and Rs 35087 crore for the SGST.
GST Revenue collection for June, 2020
The gross GST revenue collected in the month of June, 2020 is Rs 90,917 crore of which CGST is Rs 18,980 crore, SGST is Rs 23,970 crore, IGST is Rs 40,302 crore (including Rs 15,709 crore collected on import of goods) and Cess is Rs 7,665 crore (including Rs 607 crore collected on import of goods).

Maruti Suzuki sales drop slows in June at 53.7%
- The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki reported a decline of 53.7% to sell 52,300 units last month.
- Sales for the company fell across segments. While sales of mini cars Alto and S-Presso declined 44.2% to 10458 units in June, those of compact cars (Swift, DZire, Tour S, Celerio, Baleno, Ignis, WagonR) fell 57.6% to 26,696 units. Wholesale volumes of midsize sedans Ciaz dropped 76.2% to 553 units in the month under review. Sales of utility vehicles slid 45.1% to 9764 units.

- A lsit of 80 police personnel has been prepared across the rank based on their past behaviour and special branch report, to give them special training to improve their interpersonal skills. They will be given 1-month cognitive behavioural therapy.
- As of now, they have been withdrawn from duties which have got direct contact with the public. Once they complete their training and evidence of clear behavioural change is noticed then they will be reinducted into regular duties.

- Vodafone Idea, the country's third largest telecom operator, on Wednesday reported a staggering Rs 73,878 crore of net loss in fiscal ended March 2020 - the highest ever by any Indian firm - after it provisioned for Supreme Court mandated statutory dues.
- The firm, which has to pay Rs 51,400 crore dues after the apex court ordered the non-telecom revenues to be included in calculating statutory dues, said the liability has "cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern".

Carlyle to acquire about 25% stake in Airtel's data centre business for about Rs 1,780 crore
- The Carlyle Group will acquire about 25 per cent stake in Airtel's data centre business, Nxtra Data, for USD 235 million (about Rs 1,780 crore), the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
- This will peg the enterprise valuation of Nxtra at USD 1.2 billion which is over Rs 9,084 crore.
- On completion of the deal, Carlyle will hold about 25 per cent stake in the business with Airtel continuing to hold the remaining stake of about 75 per cent.
- The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, including nod from the Competition Commission of India.
