The South African-born midfielder announced on Monday that he's signed a short-term contract extension in order to see out the Covid-19 disrupted season.
The 33-year-old joined Saracens from the Sharks in 2008 and has made 257 appearances for the London-based club, winning five English Premiership titles and lifting the European Champions Cup on three occasions.
Barritt played 26 Tests for England between 2012 and 2015 and also featured for the British & Irish Lions on their 2013 tour of Australia.

All good things, have to come to an end. As I’ve decided that the 19/20 season, will be my last as a Saracen. However, I’m delighted to have extended my stay to defend our @ChampionsCup title & finish the @premrugby season. pic.twitter.com/6psyHfdz7n
