Kaizer Chiefs have decided against renewing the contracts of Kabelo Mahlasela, Joseph Molangoane and George Maluleka, the club has announced.
The midfield trio will leave the Naturena outfit with immediate effect as their contracts expire at the end of June.
Mahlasela was loaned out to Polokwane City this season and made six Premier Soccer League appearances ahead of the enforced break because of the coronavirus.
The 29-year-old midfielder joined Amakhosi in 2018 from Royal Eagles but has struggled to cement his place at the club with injuries also playing their part.
Amakhosi have also finally confirmed that Maluleka has left the club in order to join Mamelodi Sundowns.
The former Ajax Cape Town midfielder signed a pre-contract with Masandawana in January and will hope to break into the Brazilians starting XI next season.
"George Maluleka's contract has expired and he opted not to renew it as previously stated. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours," the club said in a Twitter post.
Meanwhile, Molangoane, 32, has also been released by the Soweto giants.
