Should I pause my SIP and hold the money until the NIFTY touches 8700-8500?

The problem in doing this is that you may just keep on waiting and when the Nifty will come down to 8500, you will be too scared to invest and may end up waiting for 8000. So, it is better to automate your investments.
If at all you want to play these games, then do it only with a small portion of your money. Having said that, I think it is a difficult thing to do. Therefore, devise a traditional systematic investment plan, put it into motion and don't look back.
