Bhubaneswar: No public entry to BMC, BDA offices for 15 days

BHUBANESWAR: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) and the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) have decided on Tuesday to restrict entry of public into its offices for 15 days as a precautionary measure.
BMC commissioner and BDA vice chairman Prem Chandra Chaudhary said they took this decision as Covid-19 cases are increasing in the city during last few days.
"We appeal the public not to visit any of these two offices for 15 days. They can use Bhubaneswar.Me website to avail services online. They can also dial 1929 helpline number to lodge their complaints and grievances," he added.
So far 320 Covid-19 positive cases have been reported from BMC areas. Total 185 people have been recovered and four patients suffering from Covid-19 have died. Six positive cases including five local contact cases were reported from BMC area on Tuesday.
