Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde is the 47th Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. After former CJI Justice Ranjan Gogoi, he took charge on 18 November 2019. Justice Bobde's term as Chief Justice is around 17 months. He will retire on 23 April 2021.
