Share market update: 60 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

​Overall, 5 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 45 were trading in red.

NEW DELHI: Around 60 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were AstraZeneca Pharma , Alok Industries, Andhra Cements, GTN Industries , Bafna Pharma, Birla Tyres, IDBI Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Karda Constructions, Omaxe, Shree Digvijay Cement and Ruchi Infrastructure.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 134.15 points down at 10248.85 on Monday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Overall, 5 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 45 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Britannia, ITC, HUL, Nestle India and Cipla were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, Coal India Ltd, Hindalco, Bajaj Finance and ZEEL were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 435.64 points down at 34735.63.
