KALYAN: With Covid-19 cases rising in Kalyan-Dombivli regularly, the Kalayan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation has also started increasing health services to avoid inconvenience to patients. If civic authorities are to be believed then by July 1st Dombivli's one more 200 beds hospital will be ready for Covid-19 patients that includes 30 ICU beds and 170 oxygen beds.
Meanwhile Kalyan Member of Parliament Dr Shrikant Shinde on Sunday along with KDMC Commissioner Dr Vijay Suryawanshi visited to take a review of the hospital work going on in Dombivli during which they said that two more dedicated Covid-19 hospitals with 820 beds capacity is on and it will also get ready by 15 July.
In addition to this KDMC has also converted three more private hospitals as Covid-19 hospitals totalling 21 Covid-19 privates in city.
A health officials also said that many complaints have come about private hospitals denying admission to suspected Covid-19 patients that's why have added 15 more beds to the RR hospital for suspected Covid patients so that such patients will not have to wander from one hospital to another for admission.
