Chargesheet against 10 OGWs, 3 active J&K terrorists

JAMMU: Police on Saturday filed a chargesheet against 10 overground workers (OGWs) and three active terrorists in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A police spokesperson said, “The chargesheet was filed before a TADA/PoTA court in Jammu against 13 accused, including three active militants in Jahangir Saroori of Saroor, Mudassar Hussain of Dachhan and Riaz Ahmed of Marwah).”
The OGWs were charged with harbouring, transportation and providing other logistic and financial aid to the terrorists. The police spokesperson added, “The accused were managing meetings of the trio for carrying out terrorist activities in the area.” Police added that the accused were also providing information regarding security forces to the terrorists for carrying out attacks.
“On their disclosure, police had recovered one rifle, 25 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, 5 posters of a militant outfit and photographs of temples,” the spokesperson added.
