A huge crowd gathered at a fish market in Vasai Virar in Mumbai flouting all social distancing rules. The crowd was seen standing closer than 6 feet and the people were not wearing masks. The incident came to light after it was shot on video. The incident has faced huge backlash and people are calling out the Maharashtra government to look into the matter. This comes when Maharashtra is the major hotspot for COVID-19 and saw it highest rise in the past 24 hours with more than 5,000 cases. Considered to be a shocking visual, the Thane administration has seen a spike in the number of cases.
