Nehal Chudasama to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Laila Manju’

The stunning beauty queen Nehal Chudasama who was crowned Miss Diva Universe 2018 has finally announced her debut into bollywood with Prem Raj Soni’s ‘Laila Manju’. The movie which was in talks since a long time has finally unveiled its first teaser poster marking its release soon.

The diva who has been holding onto the news, announced the same as soon as the poster was out in a post captioned, “My heart, My first movie, Our first movie! ❤ (I say Our because it is yours as much as it is mine!)❤ #LAILAMANJU & it's quirky poster will make you want to look forward to India's FIRST film on DRAG RACE a fun tale packed with a strong message on #RACISM and #EQUALITY because we all know that #alllivesmatter A tear rolls down my cheek, in happiness as I share about it with you all and waiting to see all your love in comments and stories🥰”

The comedy film which was shot in London is directed by Prem Raj Soni, who is well known for films ‘Main aur Mrs Khanna’ and ‘Ishq in Paris’ and produced by Amit Basnet's AB International Films, Dinesh Gupta's Murliwale Pictures, Avi Raj & Premraj Pictures. Speaking to a source Soni said, “‘Laila Manju’ has been made with a lot of passion, I am extremely happy to see how the film has shaped up. I cannot wait for the audience to see this interesting tale that is a labour of love.”

The much awaited movie revolves around two British born Punjabi boys who participate in London's most popular Beauty contest to save their heritage restaurant in Southall. This is India’s first film based on drag race; Laila Manju is a light-hearted fun tale with a strong social message of equality and deals with racism. “The social message in today’s time is extremely relevant and we as a team have always stood by the fact that each person has the right to live their life their way. It is imperative to voice out matters about equality and racism,” added Soni. The movie also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Farida Jalal, Shashank Vyas, Iulia Vantur and Abhimanyu Tomar.
