
UP Board UPMSP 10th Result 2020 HIGHLIGHTS: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) Prayagraj declared the result of class 10 and 12 today. The Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma announced the result at 12 pm via a press conference in Lucknow’s Lok Kalyan Bhawan. The result is available at 3:30 pm at the official websites – upresults.nic.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in and results.nic.in.
Over 56.11 lakh students appeared in the class 10 and 12 exams this year, with 30.24 lakh students (30,24,632) in High School and 25.86 lakh (25,86,440) students in Intermediate. This year, the high school and intermediate toppers will receive a laptop and Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.
The mark sheets will contain the name, school and other details of students in both English and Hindi, as per the directions of Allahabad High Court. UP board has also commenced an online correction process in certificates, where the students who appeared in the exams since 2017 can get their certificates edited.
Those who are not happy with their results can apply for re-evaluation. Last year, UP Board hiked their fee for re-calculation, re-evaluation etc by five times and became of the costliest boards in this regard. As per the latest rules, to get one subject paper reevaluated, candidates will have to pay Rs 500 instead of Rs 100 earlier. With this, the UP Board’s reevaluation procedure is the costliest in the country.
Anurag scored 485 marks out of 500 to leave behind around 25 lakh students. Asked about the preparation for the examinations, he says he would set small targets daily and try to achieve them. “Every morning when I would wake up, I would set myself a target that I need to finish these many chapters. I would study and not get distracted,” says Anurag, who plans to become an IAS officer.
This year a total of 27,72,656 students appeared while 23,09,802 passed. The pass percentage is 83.31%, improves from previous years. A total of 12,81,842 girls registered for the High School exam of which 11,18,914 passed taking their passing percentage to 87.29 per cent. Similarly, 14,90,814 boys registered of which 11,90,888 passed. Their overall pass percentage is 79.88% which is less than girls pass percentage.
Anurag Malik, from Shri Ram SM Inter College, Baraut has surpassed over 30 lakh students to obtain the first rank in UP Board Intermediate examination results in 2020. Son of a shopkeeper, Anurag scored 485 marks out of 500 or 97 per cent. He credits his success to his ‘target-driven’ study plan.
Riya will opt for the science stream in intermediate for her love of mathematics, but plans to pursue a career as a teacher. “I love science but do not aim to become a doctor or an engineer. I will pursue teaching as a profession,” the topper said. Full story here
Riya topped the class 10 exam with 580 marks with 99 in Science, 98 in Mathematics, English and Social Science, Hindi- 90, Drawing- 97. The topper will take Science in intermediate for her love in Mathematics, but will pursue her career as a teacher in English in future.

UPMSP has today released class 10 results today. However, the high school result link will be active at 3:30.
UP Board result has improved this year. Over 1 lakh invigilators were hired to check over 2 crore answer sheets. Deputy CM has congratulated the UP Board for this initiative.

The UP Board toppers for both the class 10 and class 12 examinations have emerged from the same school in Western Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district. Riya Jain from Shri Ram S Inter College, Baraut topped the class X exam after scoring 96.67 per cent marks in the class X examination, while Anurag Malik from the same school topped after scoring 97 per cent marks in class XII.
Apart from getting results, students will also have to register themselves online to get their mark sheets as the entire process has gone digital and hard copies, after e-signature and e-verification, can be obtained through the respective schools from July 15, as per the deputy CM Dinesh Sharma. The students will get digital mark sheets this year. The class 10 students will get mark sheets by July 15, and 12th students by July 30
