As the Central and state governments allow phase-wise relaxation in curbs to get the life up and running again following over two months of lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19, we bring you the latest updates from Delhi.
*Delhi cops deployed on the ground during the pandemic were taken through a stress-counselling programme to deal with depression caused due to the long absence from their families.

*With Covid-positive cases emerging in clusters, Delhi government has decided to increase the number of containment zones to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading.
*In the next few days, the number of ICU beds in state-run hospitals would be increased. This was announced by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal who added that Delhi government had also decided to increase the number of Covid beds in the upcoming hospital at Burari by 450
*While the north and east municipal corporations have remained financially unstable since the MCD trifurcation in 2012, the relatively well-off South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) may be unable to pay some employees for June due to the pandemic.
*Delhi recorded 3,460 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday, taking the tally in the city to over 77,000, while the death toll from the disease mounted to 2,492.
*A day after chief minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a video calling facility at Lok Nayak Hospital to facilitate interaction between Covid-19 patients and their attendants, some families were unaware about the new convenience on Friday.
