As the Central and state governments allow phase-wise relaxation in curbs to get the life up and running again following over two months of lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19, we bring you the latest updates from Delhi.
*Delhi cops deployed on the ground during the pandemic were taken through a stress-counselling programme to deal with depression caused due to the long absence from their families.
* Update at 1.54pm: A medical team collects samples for serological survey in Paharganj area, Delhi

* Update by ANI at 1.34pm: Our recovery rate has gone above 58% and around 3 lakh people have recovered from Covid-19. Our mortality/fatality rate is near 3% which is very less. Our doubling rate has come down to near 19 days, which was 3 days before the lockdown, says Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan
* Update at 12.26pm: We have increased Covid-19 testing in Delhi. Now around 20,000 tests are being conducted in Delhi everyday, says CM Arvind Kejriwal during a press conference

*OPD regulars at hospitals that have been declared Covid-19 facilities are now avoiding them and shifting to other medical centres in the vicinity. This has put a new burden on the non-Covid municipal corporation hospitals
*New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) employees can now avail cashless medical facility for Covid-19 treatment .at luxury hotels empanelled with Delhi government hospitals under it.
* Update at 9.51am: Delhi yesterday conducted the highest number of Covid-19 tests in a single day 21,144. We have increased testing 4 times. Delhi is now following strategy of very aggressive testing and isolation, says CM Arvind Kejriwal
* Update at 9.35am: India's Covid-19 tally crosses 5 lakh with record single-day surge of 18,552 cases; death toll rises to 15,685 with 384 new fatalities
*With Covid-positive cases emerging in clusters, Delhi government has decided to increase the number of containment zones to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading.
*In the next few days, the number of ICU beds in state-run hospitals would be increased. This was announced by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal who added that Delhi government had also decided to increase the number of Covid beds in the upcoming hospital at Burari by 450
*While the north and east municipal corporations have remained financially unstable since the MCD trifurcation in 2012, the relatively well-off South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) may be unable to pay some employees for June due to the pandemic.
*Delhi recorded 3,460 fresh coronavirus cases on Friday, taking the tally in the city to over 77,000, while the death toll from the disease mounted to 2,492.
*A day after chief minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a video calling facility at Lok Nayak Hospital to facilitate interaction between Covid-19 patients and their attendants, some families were unaware about the new convenience on Friday.
