UP Dy CM Speaks to 10th, 12th Toppers | Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma spoke to the toppers of UP Board 2020 Class 10 and Class 12 through video conferencing. He congratulated all the students for their bright future. In the presence of the minister, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) today noon released the UP 10th and 12th Result 2020.

This will be the first time in the Uttar Pradesh Board’s history when such an action will be taken to ease the future admission process for students.

Class 12 Overall Percentage is 74.63% | Overall pass percentage for Class 12 is 74.63% this year. 25,86,349 students had registered for Intermediate or Class 12 board exams this year. Of these, 24,84,489 students sat for the exams. Over 18 lakh students have cleared the 10th board exam.

UP Board Compartment Exams | Candidates who fail in more than two subjects will be considered fail. Other students have the option to sit for the compartment exam for which the date will be announced by the Uttar Pradesh Board or UPMSP later.

Process for Obtaining Digitally Signed Marksheets | In order to obtain digitally signed marksheets from Uttar Pradesh board, students will have to give an application to Principal of their respective schools, after which Principal will log in on the official website of UPMSP using login id. After this, the Principal will download the digitally signed marksheet and certificate and will duly sign it along with putting an official stamp of the college before handing it over to the students. 

Overall Pass Percentage for Class 10 is 83.31% | This year, overall pass passing percentage for High School is 83.31%. Around 30,24,480 had registered for Class 10 board exam, but only 27,72,656 had sat for the exams. Of these, 2,39,802 students have cleared the 10th board exam.

UP Board Kept Strict Vigil During Exams | This year, the Uttar Pradesh board had kept a strict vigil during the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. CCTVs were put in examination centres to curb cheating, especially in areas where such unfair acts were rampant.

Next What ? If not satisfied with the 10th, 12th board results, students can apply for re-evaluation, re-totaling or can also get their answer scripts by demanding a photocopy. The fee for all these options increase by five times last year. As per the latest rules, to get one subject paper reevaluated, candidates will have to pay Rs 500 instead of Rs 100 earlier. With this, the UP Board’s reevaluation procedure is the costliest in the country.

Result better than previous years | This year, the result of class 10, 12 exams is better than the previous year. the exams have been completed in 15 days, said Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma. 

Mahoba Emerges as Best Performing District in UP | This year, Mahoba district has secured the maximum passing percentage in UP Board. In the dictrict, 89.24 per cent candidates have successfully cleared the exams.

UP Board Result 2020 Toppers to be Awarded by UP Govt | Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma has said that the Uttar Pradesh Board Result 2020  toppers will be awarded with a prize money of Rs 1 lakh and a laptop each.

Over 2 Crore Copies Checked in 21 days | The Uttar Pradesh board has checked over 2 crore answer sheets in a record 21 days, said Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma during the press conference after announcing the UP 10th, 12th board exam results 2020.

Girls Outperform Boys in UP Class 12 Exam | A total of 74.63 per cent girls have cleared the 12th board exams, while 68.88 per cent boys have successfuly passed the paper. A total of 74.63 per cent students became successful in Class 12 board exam 2020.

He has scored 95.33% in 10th board exam.

UP Govt to Construct Roads in Names of 20 Toppers | Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that the state government will construct roads for twenty toppers of the board 10th and 12th exams. "The roads will be named after the toppers," said Sharma.
