
UP Board UPMSP 12th Result 2020 LIVE Updates: Over 56.11 lakh students will get the results for their class 10 and 12 exams conducted under the UP Board today. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will declare the result for the board exams at its official websites — upmsp.edu.in, and upresults.nic.in. Students who obtain at least 35 per cent marks with be considered qualified.

Students will be able to download the result from the websites which can act as provisional mark sheet but the original mark sheets will be released by respective schools later. It is likely to take some time as this year mark sheets will contain the name, school, and other details of students in both English and Hindi, as per the orders of Allahabad High Court.

The students will get digital mark sheets this year. The class 10 students will get mark sheets by July 15, and 12th students by July 30
The board has checked over 2 crore answer sheets in a record 21 days, said Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma
Dinesh Sharma, state education minister said, "While other boards could not complete exams. We have completed the exams in 15 days." He informed that the board has also started a helpline number to assist students
Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma said, "We have started online teaching from April 1 onwards. Over 1 lakh students attended classes through whatsapp".

A total of 30.24 lakh students appeared in the High School exam this year. As per the board, the Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma will announce the result at 12 pm via press conference in Lucknow’s Lok Kalyan Bhawan.

According to 2019 data, for class 12, Lucknow had the best result with 89.28 per cent students from the district clearing the exam.

As per the rules issued by the UP Board, students need a minimum of 35 per cent marks to pass a subject examination. In case, if a student is not able to clear the exam or scored below the required 35 per cent, they will be given a chance to appear for compartment test. The dates of compartment exams are yet to be announced.
