Goa Board GBSHSE HSSC Class 12th Result 2020: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) declared the class 12 results on Friday, June 26. A total of 86.83 per cent students cleared the examination successfully this year. Around 2,367 students became unsuccessful.

The Commerce stream has the highest pass percentage with 92.82 per cent, followed by Science- 88.96 per cent. The Arts stream has the least pass percentage at 85.30 per cent. The girls have outperformed boys with 90.94 per cent, while the pass percentage of boys is 87.43 per cent.

A total of 18,150 students who had appeared in the HSSC exam can check their result now through the website- gbshse.gov.in. A total of 4,523 students appeared in Arts stream, Commerce- 5,593, Science- 5,114 and Vocational- 2,920.

The board exam was earlier postponed on March 20 due to coronavirus pandemic, and the pending HSSC exam was conducted from May 20 to 22, after the state was declared COVID-19 free on May 1.

Meanwhile, a total of 19,680 students who had appeared in the SSC or class 10 exams will get their results next month as evaluation process is yet to complete.

Last year, a total of 89.59 per cent students cleared the class 12 exam successfully. The girls have outperformed boys, the pass percentage of girls is 91.97 per cent, while that of boys is 86.91 per cent.

The result of HSSC exam will be announced at 5 pm. The students can check the result through the website- gbshse.gov.in.

More female candidates appear in HSSC

The female candidates supersede that of the male candidates. In comparison to 9,326 female candidates, 8,824 male candidates appeared in the exam.
