The board meeting of the International Cricket Council ended once again without any major decision. On Thursday, a teleconference between the board members was held in which 12 members have joined from the Test-playing countries and three from the Associate countries.

Once again, no decision could be taken in the meeting regarding the T20 World Cup to be held this year and now a concrete decision will be taken after meeting it again in July.

Apart from this, the International Cricket Council will also finalize the nomination process for the replacement of outgoing chairman Shashank Manohar next week as many important issues are yet to be agreed upon.

In the board meeting, it was discussed whether to hold elections for the new chairman or to select him. A member of the ICC board said, 'There was a good conversation about the process. I am sure the whole process will be finalized by next week. ”He said,“ There is still a consensus on many issues and hopefully it will be done next week.
