Corona infection continues to increase in Punjab. There have been 4627 patients of Corona here, while 113 people have died. Seeing the ever-increasing cases in the state, the state Health Minister Balbir Siddu expressed concern that if the situation is not under control then lockdown can be imposed again. He said that due to the adjoining state and Delhi, cases of infection have increased rapidly in the state. Sidhu and cabinet rank MLA Rajkumar Verka said that due to Delhi, Haryana was also facing problems. The situation in Delhi is not getting up due to which the surrounding states are suffering.

Siddu and Verka said that if needed, the movement of trains coming from Delhi to Punjab can be stopped. Also, the borders of Haryana connecting Delhi to Punjab can be sealed. Siddu has made a special appeal to those coming from Delhi to give information about their health before coming to the state.

At the same time, Verka described the Delhi model as absolutely unsuccessful and said that because of this, the situation in the state deteriorated and if the situation is not under control then lockdown may be imposed.
