A fire broke out at the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait office in south Mumbai’s Nariman Point area this morning. The bank is located in the Jolly Maker Chamber 2 building.

According to fire brigade officials, the fire broke out around 5 am and spread across electric wiring, office records, false ceiling in an area of 4,000 sq feet on the ground floor.

The fire officials said that at least 5 fire engines and 4 Jumbo tankers rushed to the spot. The fire fighting operations are underway while no one is trapped inside or injured. More details are awaited.
