Delhi Government said that a total of 3,788 new confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in the city during the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases to 70,390.
There are 26,588 active cases in Delhi. Delhi Health Bulletin confirmed that a total of 41,437 people affected with corona virus have been cured so far and that the recovery rate reached to 58.86 per cent in the city.
In a single day, 2,124 people affected with corona virus have recovered and 64 deaths have been registered in Delhi taking the toll to 2,365. During the last 24 hours, a total of 19,059 tests have been conducted by the various laboratories in the city. So far, four lakh 20,707 tests have been conducted in the National Capital.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that presently 6,000 beds are empty and that government is continuously increasing the number of beds. He said, 100-bed corona center has been started in a banquet hall yesterday and many such centres will be built in many banquet halls all over Delhi in the coming days.
