Woman injects poison at her clinic, kills self

Noida: A 38-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide on Wednesday by injecting herself with poison at a clinic she ran in Sector 121. No suicide note was found. The body has been sent for an autopsy, police said.
The woman, originally from West Bengal, had been living in Noida for the past three years and practising as a quack in Gadhi Chaukhandi village of Sector 121. Police said she had recently told the cops at Phase III police station that her husband was pressurising her to return to their home state.
Police said that the woman and her husband, Vipul, stayed in Noida for nearly 15 years since 2000. They shifted to their home state, along with their daughter, in 2015. However, two years later, she returned to Noida and started running the small clinic in the village alone.
No FIR has been lodged in the case so far, but the police said that they were also probing the angle of an extra-martial affair.
