Man's body is found in a primary school car park - as murder detectives begin the search for his killer

  • The body of a man has been found in a primary school car park in Melbourne
  • The discovery was made by passers-by in Cranbourne at about 7.15am on Friday
  • A crime scene has been set up and Victoria Police have begun investigating 

The body of a man has been found in a primary school car park in Melbourne

The discovery was made by members of the public in Cranbourne, in the city's south-east, at about 7.15am on Friday. 

The car park on Lesdon Avenue, near Donnelly Reserve, is next to Rangebank Primary School.

A crime scene has been set up and Victoria Police have begun investigating.

Local officers are on the scene and Homicide Squad detectives are en route.
