Big news has come out about the CBSE Board Exam. CBSE has decided to cancel the remaining examinations of class 10th and 12th. The board gave this information in the Supreme Court hearing on Thursday. Now the assessment of the students will be based on their previous 3 exams. They will have the option to take the exam later. The 12th exam was supposed to be between 1 to 15 July. There are 12 papers of its subjects left across the country. At the same time, in addition to these 12 in north-east Delhi, there are 11 more main subject papers left. These examinations were postponed on 18 March. At the same time, 6 papers of CBSE 10th are yet to be held in North-East Delhi. In this way, more than 10 lakh students of 10th and 12th have to complete a total of 29 subjects. If there was no corona, then these examinations would have been done at 3000 centers across the country, but due to social distancing, CBSE would need 15,000 centers to get the remaining papers.

Now this option

- In the subjects for which the examinations were to be conducted, the students can be promoted by giving average marks based on internal assessment.

Apart from this, students can also get the option to take the test later for the improvement of marks in related subjects.

The expectation of results increased in July

In such a situation, when the CBSE Board has decided to cancel the remaining examinations of the tenth and twelfth, the expectation of the results will soon start to rise among the students. The CBSE board had already started the evaluation of paper copies before the lockdown. Now that the remaining examinations have been canceled, it is believed that the board will announce the result by the end of July. Let us know that last year the result of the 12th examination was declared on May 2, while the results of the Class X examination came on May 6.

The parents of children who took the 10th and 12th examination had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. It demanded that the board should cancel the examinations. It was argued that CBSE has already decided to cancel the examinations of 250 schools abroad. The petition also gave an example that during exams in Karnataka the father of a child was found to be Corona positive and 24 students had to be quarantined. Apart from the petition filed in the Supreme Court, the Government of Maharashtra, Delhi, and Odisha had recently written a letter to the Ministry of Human Resource Development that the examinations should be canceled.
