Amid emerging reports of Covid-19 cases among Absa Premiership and GladAfrica Championship players and staff, Cape Town City have reported that none of their players have tested positive.

Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic, Stellenbosch FC, TS Galaxy and Swallows FC have all reported positive Covid-19 cases in recent days.

All clubs are in the process of completing a mandatory round of testing ahead of returning to training.

Cape Town City completed their testing last week and have already prepared their training facilities to welcome back players.

A post on the PSL's club's official Twitter account read: "Cape Town City can confirm that the first round of PSL coronavirus testing has produced 0 positive cases amongst the club's PSL players.

"There are also 0 positive cases amongst the entire technical staff."
