Thane: Police constable dies of Covid-19 in Dombivli

KALYAN: A 45-year-old police constable posted with Manpada police station in Dombivli died of Covid-19. He died on Monday before he could get admitted to a hospital. His test report came on Tuesday, according to which he was Covid-19 positive.
So far, 25 policemen have been infected with Covid-19 in Thane police commissionerate's Kalyan zone. While this was the first death from the police force in the region due to Covid-19.
A senior police official said that out of 25 infected policemen, 12 have bee discharged, while 12 policemen are still taking treatment .
