TB Report 2020: Gujarat leads in eradicating disease, Harsh Vardhan says India can win fight before 2025

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Ashwini Kumar Choubey on June 24 launched the Annual TB (Tuberculosis) Report 2020. The launch took place through video conferencing. Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh ranked first, second and third best-performing states respectively. Choubey said, “The sustainable goal of eradicating TB from the country by 2030, but under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, we will be able to eradicate the disease by 2025.”
